Platform terms: who is responsible for what

ShazzBiz is a platform that gives clients and professionals the opportunity to collaborate. Please read these terms before sending an inquiry.

What ShazzBiz does

  • Introduces clients and professionals, shares anonymised profiles and arranges technical interviews
  • Coordinates the 1-week free trial and stays available to help both sides communicate
  • Charges a one-time, minor service fee to the client and to the professional, only after they agree to work together

What ShazzBiz is not responsible for

  • The engagement agreement, which is made directly between the client and the professional; ShazzBiz is not a party to it
  • Payments, rates, invoices or non-payment between client and professional, and any financial dispute
  • NDAs, IP ownership, data confidentiality or data leakage; each side shares data at its own discretion
  • The quality, conduct or outcome of the work, and any legal, penalty or compensation claim
Agreement between client and professionalBoth sides set and sign their own terms, including NDA and IP, and are responsible for keeping them.
No legal binding on ShazzBizShazzBiz has no legal obligation to either side, and neither side may take legal or penalty action against ShazzBiz.
1-week free trial is unpaidTrial work is non-payable. A professional who does not want an unpaid trial can say so in the inquiry form.
Client may refuse or exitIf the client is not satisfied, they may decline the professional after the trial without any engagement.
Payments are the client's responsibilityAll amounts due to the professional are paid by the client under their own agreement.
Service charge is non-refundableThe one-time ShazzBiz service charge is due after the agreement or engagement starts and is not refunded.

What does it cost?

There is no upfront cost for either side. ShazzBiz charges a one-time, minor, non-refundable service fee to the company and to the expert, only after an engagement starts. Ask for pricing.

The company and the expert. They evaluate each other, agree rates, payments, NDA and IP directly, and manage the work together. ShazzBiz only introduces companies and experts and coordinates interviews. It is not a party to the engagement, does not evaluate, certify or guarantee experts, and is not involved in the work, payments or any dispute. Its only charge is a one-time service fee after an engagement starts.
